Austin Design Lab is producing Caputo as a filmmaker-driven, story-first feature grounded in authenticity, craft, and lived experience. Blending cinematic craftsmanship with documentary discipline, the film is approached as a complete world, built through real locations, restrained performances, and a tactile, human visual language.

The feature screenplay is complete and the project is now in development. In January 2026, the team will be in Naples to begin building the film from the ground up, assembling local collaborators and grounding the story in the places and culture that shaped it.
